Development of a method for preparing solid lipid particles
The aim of this thesis was to learn the theoretical bases of various methods of solid lipid nanoparticles preparation and to choose and verify an appropriate method for laboratory use of solid lipid nanoparticles as containers of lipophilic substances in the bodies of chemical robots.
High speed homogenization was chosen as an ideal method for preparation of solid lipid nanoparticles. Dominant part of this thesis consists of studying the influence of process parameters – both qualitative, such as lipid or surfactant used, as well as quantitative, such as temperature and intensity of homogenization – on the properties of dispersion produced.
The final part discusses possible options of incorporation of lipophilic model substance into solid lipid nanoparticles and studies how external parameters affect kinetics of releasing incorporated substance.
