9 February 2024Prestigious fellowship for Emilia Jakubowska
12 February 2024We are happy that our long-term collaboration with the group of Dr. Adam Bajgar from the University of South Bohemia has resulted in a joint paper: Krejčová G., Saloň I., Klimša V., Ulbrich P., Aysan A.B., Bajgar A., Štěpánek F., “Magnetic yeast glucan particles for antibody-free separation of viable macrophages from Drosophila melanogaster”, ACS Biomater. Sci. Eng. 10, 355–364, (2024). The paper reports a novel method of producing magnetic yeast glucan particles that are readily fagocytosed in vivo and enable magnetic separation of viable macrophages without compromising their normal function and gene expression. The work was honoured by selection for a Cover page. Congratulations to all authors and thank you for your hard work on this paper.
