Swim across the Strait of Gibraltar

The summer holidays are perfect time for all sorts of adventure. Professor František (Ferry) Štěpánek along with three other Czech swimmers successfully completed a crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar. On a moderately windy day with favourable sea currents, the 15.2 km swim from Tarifa (Spain) to Punta Cires (Morocco) took them 4 h 3 min to complete. They became the 19th to 22nd Czechs to complete the crossing.
