Jitka Čejková’s book reviewed in Science

We are proud that a book titled “R.U.R. and the Vision of Artificial Life” edited by our colleague Jitka Čejková and published by M.I.T. press has been well received by the scientific community. A very nice review of the book by Ed Finn was published in the January issue of Science. Congratulations for this achievement and many thanks for helping to remind the broader public about the origin of the word “robot” and the many intriguing plots from Karel Čapek’s play that have so much relevance for today’s society.
