APV Expert Workshop on Tableting

Prof. Frantisek Stepanek participated in a 2-day Expert Workshop on Tableting, organised by the International Association for Pharmaceutical Technology and taking place at the Technical University of Dortmund on 24-25 September 2024. Expert from both academia and industry presented their latest finding on the design, manufacturing and characteristics of pharmaceutical tablets. The workshop included practical sessions with an opportunity to test production-scale rotary tablet presses in conjunction with advanced excipients specially tailored for continuous manufacturing by direct compression. Prof. Stepanek delivered a lecture titled “Predictive models and advanced measurement methods of tablet disintegration”.
